You’ll notice on the logo now, as well as being on Airsofter World, there are now some discount codes…

“Aaaahhhhh he sold out”
No, I haven’t, don’t worry. There’s no commission or paid reviews or anything like that, I just think it’s important to support as well as be supported. Nothing to be gained or lost. I don’t go fishing around for discount codes for every patch or t-shirt company out there on Instagram just for the sake of it, I’d like to think I’ve built up quite a lot of good relationships with a lot of brands down the years and these first two codes were offered up so I thought I’d put them there for people to use; everyone likes discount on airsoft kit so there you go. It’s a big platform now so hopefully this reaches a lot of people and if any more appear I’ll update the banner.
I’ve been sent out lots of products from a whole range of companies to test and review and you can guarantee I have actually tested and reviewed it. I don’t need anything, I’m not chasing any freebies or emailing companies to ask if they’ll support my channel, so it doesn’t make a shred of difference to me either way. Take it all away and I’m still doing events and churning out blogs, and keeping myself entertained regardless, and hopefully you guys too.
First up is Aimcam, you may remember a review GSG did of the Aimcam 2i. We visited a shooting show together and got chatting with the guys from Aimcam who had a stall up. Now, I’m not one for filming but the eye level angle is miles better than helmet-mounted GoPros, and I like it as an alternative. If you’re into analysing your play it’s very useful, as well as for any other sports or activities. It’s a big item to buy for a lot of us, so hopefully the 10% off Aimcam discount code will give you a bit of extra cash for more airsoft goodies.

Secondly, 5% discount code for Skirmshop UK. Most online airsoft retailers in the UK, and their physical shops, are a bit disappointing when it comes to sniper stuff. We all have to get our Haloscreen and bb’s from somewhere, and Skirmshop UK have a good range across a lot of categories. If you’re starting out, you can get everything you need, and if you’re an experienced player it keeps you topped up with consumables like gas, bb’s, buckings etc. It’s especially handy if you’re in the UK and sick of paying import charges on anything, so it’s my go-to for most stuff now. Always support your local retailers though – if we don’t support them, they’ll disappear. And then we’ll have to get crap products or wait months for things to come into stock.

I’m a brand ambassador for Lonestar Tactical too. Recently reviewed their Sierra mask which is brilliant for all airsoft use – it’s lower profile, fits nicely, and is just less bulk on your face. I’ve bought (yes, bought) another one in black for a big event this autumn. I like the products, I buy the products and am happy to show them to people.

I’d like to give a shout out to Longbow as well who have long kept me in the game and whose bb’s are always in my gun bag. They work, I can’t complain, and Mr Jason is an extremely nice guy to deal with.

And finally, in a big middle finger to the thousands of patch company requests on Instagram, I already have a very good supplier and Callsign Hawk Clothing needs a mention. One stop for merch, capable of almost anything.

There are plenty of others too, such as ESCWorks, OTARShop, KydexCustoms, Le Covert Sartorialist himself, Rapax, NaMech (watch this space), PrintedAirsoft, CustomLaser NI and myriad other individuals down the years, and while I’m on, thank you to all the Airsoft sites who continue to let me do weird stuff as well. So basically most people, especially in sniper circles, and this is community.
Now, I know in some forums there’s a lot of debate about brands, brand allegiances etc and some people refuse to shop in certain places for all manner of reasons, and if you suffer that, well that’s your own problem. Business seems to be conducted very publicly in some quarters. Personally, none of it makes a difference as long as I can get the kit I need when I need it, and as a sniper you should be rising above the petty YouTuber infighting and prioritising yourself and your loadout. You think Chris Kyle gave a shit where he got his ammo from?
Discounts. Money off. without using one of those awful discount code finders that don’t work. Win.
