It’s nomination time! The annual awards are back and I’m hoping to get some votes in the Best Airsoft Blog category…
If you haven’t seen or heard of them before, the Airsoft Players’ Choice Awards are an opportunity for the global Airsoft community to recognise players, manufacturers, retailers, events, media and communities who really stood out in the last 12 months. The awards have an initial nomination period from 10th November-8th December and then after that, the awards voting opens.
It’s always a huge honour to even be nominated, and in the last couple of years, I’ve been absolutely honoured to make the shortlists for Best Airsoft Blog (any language). I like to think this blog is a little different because it’s not just unboxing and product reviews supported by retailers; it’s not a commercial operation backed up by any particular manufacturer, it’s not a magazine, and there’s no team here. I’m not here to sell you my products, I’m here to give you ideas and help for free. And ad free.
For nearly a decade now, I’ve been delving deeper into how to be a better player and looking at tactics and camouflage for snipers, as well as Milsim gear, and I get a lot of really nice messages from people who have found it useful in their Airsoft journeys, which is great. And it connects to the right people as well – I’ve never had to deal with any trolls, or make any social media stands against bullying or harassment, so it’s ticking along very nicely. There are 100,000 of you who visit each year and I’m pleased to see and hear from so many who are all about the game. Regardless of the result, the work will continue and I’ll still always be here to answer questions.
I don’t normally do short, 3 min reads but let’s get down to business…
Here’s the link, click your language first to open it and if you could just fill out the blog section like below, that’d be great. And if you have any friends or family who wouldn’t mind filling it in, even better 😉
