A few people have asked, so it’s time to come clean.
Unfortunately my Facebook and Instagram accounts are currently disabled; it would seem the American owners of these platforms have an aversion to the endless gun culture related posts and stories so if you’re wondering where all the good stuff went from your feed, that’s it. This is what happens when you build your house upon the sand, or in this case some heavily algorithm-dictated and censored platforms.
Although a little frustrating, all the other platforms and communities are in good order, but I understand most of you find me and message through social media platforms so I’ll just pop up here and remind you that you can still get in touch via stipsniper@outlook.com and if you want a chat I’m on discord as well under “stipsniper“.
In a way, it’s nice to not have to see the little primadonnas bleating about their suffering and recycled YouTube channels, there are no reels or distractions and I’ve not seen a leaf suit for two weeks, so it’s not all bad. It’s been nice to sit down with a few beers and thrash out some new events and projects. Coming up in the next few months I’ll be continuing with the new survivalist section, working with the new Oakmaster materials and turning the already excellent Shaman ghillie into something even better, and there might be some new gun action too, so stay tuned.
One of the channels on Instagram I enjoyed was Sniper Denmark, which followed Danish snipers and their attitude was “run your gun, not your mouth“. Certainly, as a sniper, being out of the spotlight and focused on your skills and gear is the right way to develop. I might not be rushing back…
Silence is sometimes golden when your art is about neither being seen nor heard.
