After a few months of shopping, I finally picked up a pack for all my travel and adventures and it really did take a lot of looking before I decided on one that suited my needs. I’ll do a seperate review of the one I’ve been using, but I wanted to talk about how I…

  • Positive and Negative space in Camouflage

An important concept for anyone who has an interest in camouflage, it is often overlooked but can make all the difference to your suit (or whatever you want to camouflage). Explaining it though, when you ask any Airsoft sniper, is a little tricky. If I asked a hundred Airsoft snipers, I’d get a hundred different…

Shelter is absolutely vital in any environment. At a minimum, you’ll need somewhere warm and dry to sleep. Additionally, in bad weather you’ll want a place to escape the elements. The best place to start this survivalist section is with the biggest and most important component. Yeah, it’s that important. Now, I could include things…

A new section for the skills beyond the sniping. There’s obviously a vast amount of information for Airsoft snipers and that will always be at the heart of what I do, but if you’ve been here before, you’ll know I do take an interest in related areas, such as Milsim events and camping, which I…

Now the first thing I grab any time I’m heading outdoors, the A192 is an exceptionally good piece of kit. I’ll do a quick look at the product first, and then explain where it fits into my kit and why. For a few years now, I’ve had one of these at the top of my…

  • Airsoft Walks – an introduction

DO NOT GO FOR WALKS IN FULL TACTICAL KIT. This isn’t that sort of walk. Screen time is becoming the norm for many people. Whether at work, or sitting at home scrolling endlessly through Instagram reels. In Airsoft, we have an energetic game day at the weekend and then return home to sit and argue…

  • 2024 – A Year in Airsoft

End of year reviews. Because tradition. And I’ve got no beers handy… It’s felt like a quiet year in Airsoft, certainly I think we’re all feeling the squeeze on social media because the world is absolutely terrified of guns and cool things. Thankfully, this isn’t regulated media so I can say whatever the fuck I…

There are a lot of game-changing guns and parts hitting the market at the moment. From new MOSFETs, to hop units, new ghillie suits and low-cost thermal optics. Smaller rigs, lighter rigs. If you want the edge in Airsoft, perhaps you have a tournament coming up or you want your Instagram profile to absolutely blow…

Why British DPM camouflage remains one of the best camouflage choices on the market, despite being retired by the UK armed forces. As an Airsoft sniper, I don’t need to match my teammates’ patterns or pull off a particular historical look. The only thing I need to worry about is being effective, so I can…

Do Airsofters even like Airsoft? Having your hands on a gun is a lot of fun. Even more so, when you’re with your mates. I love that feeling of being out in the field (whatever the weather), fully loaded rig with all your gadgets to hand, set up in a position ready to engage enemy…
